What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Canal Town Pest Solutions ("Canal Town Pest Solutions", "we", "us") collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It applies to this website only, not to conversations you have with us in person, by phone, or by text outside of it.

We are a pest control company, not a data business. We collect what we need to quote and schedule treatment, and nothing beyond that.

We also record which page the form was submitted from, so we know what you were looking at when you reached out. Name, phone, and email are required. Service and details are optional and only help us follow up with a clearer estimate.

• Google, for reCAPTCHA, and for the public reviews shown on this site.
• Our email provider, which carries the message containing your submission.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use cookies to advertise to you or follow you across other websites. The technologies in use are:

• Google reCAPTCHA, which sets its own cookies and reads device signals to score form submissions for spam.
• Browser local storage, used to cache our Google reviews so the reviews page loads quickly instead of re-fetching on every visit. This holds public review content only, nothing about you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site, though the forms depend on reCAPTCHA being able to load. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number or use a text us link, you are agreeing that we may call or text you back about your request. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We use your number to talk about the job, not for marketing campaigns, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to a text, calling us, or using the contact form.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and job records as long as we need them for the work and our business records. If a request never turns into a visit, we keep it only as long as it is useful for following up.

No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive information such as bank details, card numbers, or government ID numbers through a web form. We will never ask you for any of that to prepare an estimate.

Children

This site is meant for adults hiring a pest control company. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

We link out to places like Google and Facebook. Once you follow one of those links, that company's privacy policy governs what happens next, and we have no control over it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be obvious rather than buried, but it is worth a look if you have not read it in a while.
